It is controversial that research of the past records of family is more helpful than the knowledge of current and forthcoming generations. I partially agree with the latter view, as we can obtain more trustworthy data nowadays. This essay will explain my stance with some lucid examples.
On one hand, inquiry about the previous history is beneficial as the person can find the common diseases in their families and they can be more cautious about their health in order to escape from the same result. For example, after acknowledging the history of liver cancer in my family, I go to hospital on regular bases for different kinds of health check-ups and blood tests. Moreover, it not only keeps me aware about my current condition but also detects the possible sign of disease at an early stage which increases the survival rate.
On the other hand, studying the present and upcoming generations has its advantages too, for instance the identification of any abnormality in the womb makes the health care providers more careful and cautious about the treatment. Furthermore, the different tests that run in blood make the doctors take appropriate methods and make their parents for mentally ready for the potential risk of their offspring.
To conclude, I somewhat agree that the current and future people is more reliable, as they give you the idea about different diseases in advance, so that we can prepare in advance, however, the investigation about past history records demonstrate the general idea of heredity illness.
