University is the place where education of higher level is given to students . Students are the future of a nation. So, it’s their duty to seek knowledge and severe their society and nation.
According to my point of view students must attend the classes as students learn more in class than at home. In some universities it is not mandatory for the students to attend the classes while in some universities it is mandatory for the students to attend the classes for the specific hours in a semester. As students learn more in a class discussion. They can clear the vague points in their study. They can develop confidence by class presentations. Their mind become more receptive for the new concepts when they do the regular assignments that are assigned to them. They can make new friends and become able to fits in the society. They can learn new trends and modern inventions of the technology . If the students attend the classes regularly they would become able to compete in Society. In the class and group discussions they can learn more from other group and class mate. Share new ideas with each other and help in the hour of need . Friend try to help other friend in study by clearing their ambiguous points.
Some says attending university is not mandatory as we should learn by staying at home. They should consult Internet and teachers if find any difficulty.
I have attended the university regularly. I have studied in the group of friends. If I ever found difficulty I do visit my teachers and class mates for help. Presentations has built confidence in me so I can compete in the world. So attending university should be mandatory for the students. As government is paying much for education and if students don’t attend classes the material provided to them should remains idle.
