Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is more important for students to study history and literature than it is for them to study science and mathematics.

In my opinion, its as important for students to study science and mathematics as it is for them to study history and literature. Now a days, there are a large number of organizations that require science and mathematics knowledge. These subjects has practical use in our every day life and in in our daily routine. For example, in science subjects public health nutrition requires to create awareness among community people that how important is the personal hygiene, if any disaster come then to engage and organize people to help those disaster affected people. similarly, for engineer it is very important to have a full command on mathematics knowledge, for a pharmacist its important for him to have science knowledge. A country progress depends on its stock exchange, and handle the stock exchange require mathematics knowledge because its a game of calculation.
Even the importance of mathematics and science subject can be seen in our daily life. When we want to purchase and sold something in case of money we calculate it by adding, subtracting or multiply it, and this is all what we say mathematics knowledge. In nutrition science, we can’t recommend a person diet without calculating its quantity and also counting the amount of nutrient in each food item.
We can’t forget the importance of history knowledge i-e the Shakespeare work which helps a person to understand life but we also can’t forget the importance of law of gravity and motion. So, in my opinion students should study all the subject, hence the knowledge of science and mathematics is most important amongst them.
