SHOULD POOR COUNTRIES COUNTINUE TO RECEIVE INTERNATIONAL AIDS?
It is common in under developed countries to receive international aids. When the country faces some crisis. There is a need of financial help. The developed countries help them. There is a question that should this aid is accepted by under developed countries or not?
There are different forms of international aid. Some countries provide financial help. In the time of need, these funds are used to ameliorate the position of the country. Usually the funds are used in public sectors.
Sometimes there is a situation of natural disaster like people would bear a flood, earth quack or any other hurdle. The developed countries contribute their help by providing them necessities of life. They send clothes, blankets, medicines and many other things.
In some poor countries people are facing some educational problems. Some are facing difficulties of poor system of transportation. For instance, In Pakistan roads were not developed. There is lack of transportation facilities, buses, and coaches. Simultaneously, there was a problem of finance. Then Turkish Government makes contracts with Pakistan. They provide funds to construct roads and they also gave Metro buses. Now in Pakistan the transportation sector is improved.
In all over the world poor countries receive aids but there are some drawbacks of it. The financial aid often repaid to developed countries with interest. A heavy amount is paid in form of interest. Due to this the balance of payment of under developed countries is affected. As a result, the economic progress goes down.
So, after above discussion we can say that a country should receive aids only on particular circumstances. For this, policies should be established.
