yes I agree that TV violence has a negetive effect on society because it promotes violence.TV impacts on minds are so strong that if a person spend one hour in front of TV he will think in the same way as media guide him,his thoughts are hijacked by the media,if media on air violence actions taking place in the world the individual would be agressive in his daily life,therefore the media transmissions are sensored in developed countries to eradicate voilence from their societies.In this way media plays a positive role in nation building in these countries.

I agree, media is a major institution of social control, hence what is played on tv impacts the mindset of the people. However in Pakistan, even when the television would indicate that the material played is not good for children, people tend to ignore it and watch it in the presence of their children.
6/10. Educating people so that they know what’s real and what’s exaggerated on the media could help a lot. It has more to do with the audience not the content.
