Why we introduced a new term of “Journalism” in our lives??? The answer was, is and will be quite simple “To tell” but complicated while implementing. To tell at mass level or you can say let people know about the activities where they live. How do media affect us? Does it change the manner we think? Does it modify how we live? Well, it makes us more aware, keeps us updated and gives us an effective means to express ourselves. People cannot see your face but absorb your voice message; Radio Broadcast. People cannot admire through your beauty or by your sound but with your words of wisdom; Newspaper. People can see your face, listen your voice, observe your words; Electronic Media. People will find you and get to know you from very background history feature of your life; Social Media. These all are the mediums to present the role of media in our lives. Talking about a society, according to me 60 percent information, awareness, guidance and knowledge, we disseminate in our regular routine from our media system. We found our parents, relatives, neighbors, partners and those who are related directly or indirectly to us, illiterate or with primary education but they are well informed, well aware, well analyst, how??? Where they get knowledge or awareness from??? From “media” obviously, it defines the inevitable and appreciable role of media in society. That is what media is capable of, it can influence society both positively and negatively while it can lead to blind imitation, and it can also serve as a foundation of motivation. Over exposure to media can cause information overkill but its right use leads to a global exchange of information. If used wisely, media proves to be a boon. It gives us a platform to voice our opinions on social and political issues. Owing to its reach and ease of access, it increases general awareness. It is the best source of information, entertainment and inspiration.
