The following pie charts depict the information pertaining to the percentage of online sales of retail sectors in New Zealand in 2003 and 2013. By looking at these charts, It seems that there is a considerable change in the percentage of sales in New Zeeland during 2003 and 2013.
In 2003, the highest number of transactions was noticed in the travel sector, which was 36%. This sector experienced a downfall in 2003, and the percentage of online sales reduced to 29%. Alternately, the books sector has the lowest percentage of sales in 2003, but this sector earned well in 2013. Thus, the percentage value increased from 19% to 22%.
In 2003, film sectors have a moderate percentage of online transactions even though this value increased significantly from 21% to 33% in 2013.
As far as the cloths sector is concerned, they have the highest percentage of sales after the travel sector in 2003 that was 24%. Unfortunately, this sector experienced a downfall in 2013, and the percentage of online transactions declined from 24% to 16%.
Overall, the travel and cloth sector experienced a downfall in 2013. However, films and books sector’s online sales increased significantly.
