These diagrams show the changes that have taken place at West Park Secondary School since its construction in 1950.
In 1950, West park school was built across the road and next to the houses. There was a large playground behind the school and next to the playground, there was a farmland.
In 1980, the houses were demolished and some of that was used to build a car park. Rest of the area is used to extend the school building. The new building was named science block and previous school building is now called main building. Moreover, the farmland area was acquired by school and it was converted in to sports field for recreational purposes.
By 2010, car park was extended in to the sports field area and the area for playground was reduced so that there can be room for sports field.
During all these years, school building was extended and car park was build and expended. A large playing area was reduced.
