It has been asserted that rapid financial growth in some countries lead to improvement in the standard of living in the cities but there are no benefits for the rural areas which can be troublesome for the whole state. In this essay, I will discuss the associated problems and how the state can effectively deal with these problems.
To commence, the most important, by and large, problem associated with unequal distribution of wealth to the cities would lead to urbanization. This is because people will migrate from rural areas to the cities. To illustrate, people always search for the opportunities to improve their lifestyle. For this reason, people will leave their home towns and shift to the cities so that they have better employment and earn more. Besides, the Urbanization would lead to increase pollution due to more homes and vehicles which would have negative impacts on the whole state .
Moving forward, the government needs to have some solutions to tackle these problems. The primary solution is, that the state implement policies to prevent unequal distribution of resources to either cities or rural areas. To cite an example, the state is responsible to build infrastructure in rural areas such as roads, health facilities, educational institutions to provide them better opportunities and help them raise the standard of living. Therefore, the risk of Urbanization and pollution can be curbed which will have positive effects on the whole country.
To conclude, I reiterate that the rapid economical growth in the cities is associated with Urbanization and pollution so the state must regualte policies to share some benefits with the rural areas, and prevents the negative outcomes for the whole country.
