Although these days children are more indulged in indoor activities such as video games, TV, etc, outdoor activities are equally important for physical and mental health. In my opinion, outdoor activities have so many positive perspectives such as it helps the children to get in touch with different people that build a sense of confidence among them. Furthermore, it also beneficial for physical fitness. In this essay, I’ll describe the positive sides of outdoor activities. Moreover, I will discuss other activities parents should encourage the children to do, and what would be the consequences of doing that.
First of all, outdoor activities develop confidence in children. By taking part in outdoor activities, they would be able to meet various kinds of people. They are able to learn about their culture, values, and languages. As a result, they become more confident as compare to other children who didn’t get out of their comfort zone. Secondly, children who have an inclination towards outdoor activities such as football, cricket, etc are physically active and strong. It is observed that the children who take participate in outdoor games have a strong immune system that can easily fight bacterias, and make them physically strong and enthusiastic.
Apart from outdoor activities, parents should also motivate their children to take an interest in other activities such as reading biographies and histories of our heroes. There are innumerable benefits of doing that. Firstly, they became good readers. Secondly, reading biographies of our legends motivate and teach them how to tackle the situations wisely, and helps them in character building.
In a nutshell, I want to say that outdoor activities have tremendous positive effects on the grooming of children. Despite this fact, some other activities are equally important like reading life stories of our mentors that would help them in character building. Briefly, it all depends upon parents to motivate their children to be indulge in positive activities.
