Nowadays, individuals prefer not to go for a walk even though it is considered beneficial for health. Reason being, some people are so busy in their daily lives they don’t get time to walk. In addition to this, some believe that controlling diet is easier in order to maintain Health rather than going for a walk.
Firstly, people with their busy work and social lives don’t have time to focus on going for a walk, neglecting importance of their own health. Due to their busy schedule, people prefer to utilise various means of transport for travelling than walking. This could be the cause of various health issues being faced by people of different ages. For example, as compared to now I used to work much more when I was in school whereas now I rarely get time to walk because of my busy routine.
Moreover, individuals that are serious about their health, tend to focus more on their diet than exercise and walk. Walking is a natural way of maintaining health, yet people underestimate its importance and focus more on things that are not as effective for maintenance of health. For example my cousin refused to go for daily walks with me by saying he is controlling his diet and does not feel the need to go for a walk.
To conclude, people are aware of health benefits generated by walking, but still prefer not to walk in order to save time and lead a healthy life by controlling their diet rather than walking.
