Money is the main thing that a person need to fulfill their necessities of life. Without work its not possible to earn money. But their are some other reasons in my openion for whom people do work. The first reason is that some people are very loyal with their profession,they don’t bother the earning. For example, i have a friend who is Medical doctor, he always visit his hometown that is a backward village where the basic health facilities are not available for the people. So, he organize medical health camps on weekly basis. He is’nt been paid for this service, he is doing just because of loyalty with his profession. Because the medical professional first duty is to serve the humanity. Second reason that people do work for, it is the fame and self satisfaction. I want to support this openion by giving my own example, I am a nutritionist. In Pakistan this field is not well recognized and this field need some dedicated people who work for its recognition in the country. For this purpose i joined a university as Head of Department. They offer me a very low salary package but i accept the offer because i know its the best opportunity and by indulging my efforts, i will be able to do some for the recognition of this field.I introduce a new degree that wasn’t offered before in Pakistan, this gives me not only the fame but also the self satisfaction as i achieve something and can work for my profession and its progress. I conclude that there are such type of many reasons for whom a person do work instead of just earning money to live.
