Art and culture represents the ones country traditions and shows the love of the nation for their beloved country. Every year, different art exhibitions and cultural festivals are held around the world in which the people of different countries take part and represent their culture and traditions by take taking part in several types of shows. Some people though that government should not give any type of funds for art exhibitions and cultural festivals, it’s wastage of money and on the other side some people argue that supporting art exhibitions and cultural activities is beneficial for the country as well as for the nation.
On the one hand people argue that government should promote and support art and cultural activities in country. By promoting art exhibitions and cultural shows at international level we can increase the number of tourists in our country as well as growth of economy. Many examples of different countries are present how they promote these types of cultural activities and earn lot money every year. Last year, UAE organized a Global Village show at international level in which the people of different countries i.e. China, Pakistan, India, Thailand, Russia take part and represent their culture and traditional shows. Hundreds and thousands of people visit to UAE to see this wonderful cultural Village show and at least UAE earns 2 billion in three days.
On the other hand some other people think different they thought that by organizing these types of art exhibitions and cultural shows are totally wastage of money and time. We lived in a modern world, where everyone is busy to make his/her life comfortable. No one is free to take part these types of useless activities and government should fund to other projects like infrastructure, poverty, promote education. These are some basic needs which are necessary to live in a society.
According to my contention that government should also pay attention to the basic needs of every humane as well as promote and supporting Cultural activities. We are recognized in the world by our culture and traditions which we received from our ancestors. These activities help a lot in our economy and also helped to promote international tourism.
