The proliferation of private cars on the roads in many parts of the world has led to serious problems of pollution and may contribute to global warming. Some people think that government should spend money for the development of public transportation systems in order to help alleviate this problem. Others think it is better to spend money for the development of electric and other types of cars that may cause less pollution.

Pollution is big issue these days specially when it is global warming. We our self are responsible for this pollution as we are the ones that are causing it to happen. We drive cars which release harmful exhaust gases to environment and this leads to environmental pollution. I think that it is better if we use those cars that are electric and environment friendly.

Today everyone prefer to have his/her own car. We feel more comfortable in our own cars then using public transport. By having own car we can go anywhere at any time we like. So it is better to spend in development of those cars that can help reduce pollution will be the right option to go for.

Governments should spend money in development of electric cars or any car that does not contribute to pollution in environment. This will surely require government to spend money on manufacturing of these cars and educating people of the harmful effects if they do not use these cars.People will always choose to drive their own car. In this way they won’t be limited to go to places, stops or wait as in public transport. For Example, in Norway about 80% of the people in country are using electric cars making it the most electric car use in world. This shows that people can be convinced to drive electric cars so my government should spend budget of manufacturing of these cars as it will reduce environmental pollution leading to global warming.

To conclude, it will be a better approach to spend money on development of electric cars then on same public transport which are also producing harmful gases to environment.
