Lahore is a capital city of Punjab province and the second largest metropolitan area in country and an important historical center in South Asia. It is referred to as a Mughal City Gardens due to historic presence of gardens in and around the city dating back to Mughal period. A lot historical structured buildings are situated in Lahore such as Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort, Shalimar Garden, Mausolea of Jahangir and Nur Jahan. Lahore is referred to as cultural heart of Pakistan as it hosts most of the arts, cuisine, festivals, music, film making, gardening, intelligentsia of the country.
