Dear Allen,
It was nice so hear from you after a while. It’s good to know that after all the counselling that I did during our university years, finally you are planning to go out to the North for a camping retreat. I am really delighted to know that you still trust me with my advices. Well, there are a lot of things that I would like to share with you based on my experiences of travelling to north, but since I want to hear from you more often, I will only share a few important details in this letter, and I will wait for your next letter.
Firstly, I think that the camping retreat will be fun for you because it will let you get yourself refreshed from your busy office routine. The sight of the nature with its lush green meadows and cattle grazing through the open fields will surely lift your mood up.
In fact, I have an idea for you. Since you are planning to do camping instead of living in a hotel, you should lie down at night just to look at the sky for some time before going to sleep. The sight of moon lit sky and the stars from the mountain peaks is quite eye catching. Apart from that, you should also do prepare barbeque and lit a bon-fire for the night.
However, there are a few things that you should keep in mind before you plan your trip. Since you will be away from your home during the trip and the network is barely reachable in those areas, you will not be able to talk to your family for a while. Secondly, due to high altitude our skin gets in direct contact with the sun rays and this causes sun-burn which sometimes is not even preventable with the normal sunscreen.
Well, taking about all this retreat is already giving me goosebumps. I wish I can go with you on this retreat but I am afraid I will not be able to join, as my exams are just around the corner and I am supposed to prepare score good this time else I will have to repeat the semester.
If you have any further questions, do ask me. I shall be looking forward to hearing from you regarding your preparation.
All the Best,
Muhammad Bilal Malik
