Government is a name, of a group of people with official authority to govern people and implement laws of constitution among citizens. Government has many forms present in our world. These are democracy, dictatorship, monarchy, theocracy, totalitarian, republic and anarchy. In the contemporary world, the kinds of government we observe are democracy, dictatorship and monarchy. Monarchy can be seen in United Kingdom but we should keep it in our mind that it’s not an absolute form of monarchy. The prime minister is present there, along with other official state workers in parliament. And dictatorship is a negative expression of government where the citizens are not allowed to have a say in government work. On the other hand, democracy talks about equality and right of citizens to participate in political matters for the betterment of a nation. Every form has its merits and demerits, so do democracy. If direct form of democracy prevails, it will create unsorted hurdles in the work of government, as you cannot please each and everybody.
