Secularism is a theory that comprises of two proposals. The first is that religious institutions should not interfere in public and government decisions. The second is that all the people of state are equal before the law regardless of their religions and beliefs. The main underpinning of secularism is the disjointing of religion and state. It guarantees that either of the group of religions and state should not interfere in their affairs. Believers and non-believers have freedoms of thought. Religious people practice their religion without any restriction under this secularism.
