The importance of cell phones goes beyond the ability to send and receive phone calls and text messages. So, if students of elementary and high school have cell phones it will help them more to do research work on topics they have just studied. So, they can have a better understanding and it will help them to get good grades. They can also use their phones to record lectures so they can use it later
On the other hand there is a disadvantage of having cell phones with them. First of all they will waste their time by doing chit-chats, playing games and listening music all the time. Some students get addicted to this. Moreover, continuous exposure to the cell phone screen can harm their eyes and disturb the activity of brain electric signals as well. So, its better not to give cell phones to teenagers. In case of emergency, teachers should access their parents.
