People nowadays, prefer to eat vegetables as they consider that it has more nutrition value than meat. Some people are more inclined towards vegetable as it helps to boost the immune system. On the other hand, meat has its own importance as it is a source of proteins. Following this pandemic, people realized that being vegetarian is worth more to fight against covid-19 due to the fact that vegetables are natural source of boosting immune system. People who prefer to eat vegetables are called vegans. Although there are numerous health benefits associated with the vegetables, some weak points may be considered for example, some people believe that they should avoid meat in order to save animal life and if they will consume meat, animal shortage will occur. What is more, being vegan is more problematic in third world countries like Pakistan because whenever it comes to dine out somewhere, It is less convenient to get a pure vegetarian meal as restaurants are barely able to cope with this demand.
In conclusion, to get a balanced diet, proteins should be added in diet by adding some chickpeas which is a substitute of meat.
